Les premi\u00e8res phases sont consacr\u00e9es aux efforts analytiques purs. Il est impossible de faire une d\u00e9marche de planification strat\u00e9gique sans faire une analyse pertinente de l\u2019industrie (externe) et de l\u2019organisation (interne). Une planification strat\u00e9gique n\u2019est en aucun temps une \u00e9tude de march\u00e9 \u00e9largie ou encore une r\u00e9vision organisationnelle. En fait, une planification strat\u00e9gique sans diagnostic interne favorisera l\u2019\u00e9laboration de strat\u00e9gies irr\u00e9alistes sur le plan de la faisabilit\u00e9 tandis que la planification strat\u00e9gique qui exclut le diagnostic externe risque d\u2019\u00eatre une introspection qui fait abstraction des contraintes externes.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c0 la suite des analyses internes et externes, la d\u00e9marche de planification strat\u00e9gique fera appel aux capacit\u00e9s de synth\u00e8se de la haute direction. Il faudra identifier les grands d\u00e9fis que l\u2019organisation devra affronter dans les 3 prochaines ann\u00e9es. Ces d\u00e9fis aideront ensuite l\u2019entreprise \u00e0 \u00e9laborer des strat\u00e9gies gagnantes.<\/p>\n<p>La d\u00e9marche de planification strat\u00e9gique d\u00e9bute par des efforts analytiques pour ensuite transiter vers des efforts de synth\u00e8se (d\u00e9fis et orientations). Une fois les orientations \u00e9tablies, la d\u00e9marche fait appel \u00e0 des habilet\u00e9s de planification, c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire de programmation des actions.
