Biography of Claude Daoust
In 1991, after working for several years as a senior strategic planning consultant and a chartered accountant, Claude Daoust founded Devcas Inc.
Guided by Claude Daoust’s vision, Devcas secured major mandates from companies of all sizes, ranging from global corporations to small businesses. For these mandates, Claude is often called on to present the company’s findings and recommendations to various boards of directors.
Apart from his career at Devcas, Claude has worked for the Secor Group, Deloitte Consulting, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, the Airport of Montreal and Siemens Electric.
His multidisciplinary academic background (economics, finance and management) bolsters his experience in the field. Claude holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC-Montréal and a Master’s in Economics from the University of Toulouse in France. He successfully passed the chartered accountancy examination in 1980.
